A Brand New Vibe.

Client

Overview

The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications wanted to move away from the traditional corporate feel of their annual Dean’s Report, which is distributed to over 15,000 alumni and donors. The goal was to retain the depth of data while transforming the experience into something more engaging, modern, and visually compelling. The concept reimagined the report as a magazine-style publication, using strong photography and bold typography to make complex data, charts, and narratives more accessible and enjoyable to read.

Impact

The final publication was extremely well received by the client and successfully redefined how the College of Journalism and Communications communicates with its alumni and donor base. The redesigned report increased readability and engagement while elevating the overall perception of the publication. The project was awarded a Gold ADDY in the Printed Annual Report category, recognizing its excellence in design and communication.
